Abstract:

Disclosed is a novel vacuum insulating pipe having bellows provided on an outer pipe, the vacuum insulating pipe provided with bellows, which are an expansion pipe joint, at predetermined intervals on an outer pipe of the vacuum insulating pipe so as to flexibly respond to overall contraction and expansion caused by thermal stress due to a temperature difference between room temperature and an ultra-low temperature when cryogenic liquefied gas such as liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, and liquid argon flows through an inner pipe, thereby greatly improving durability such as that for the prevention of corrosion of a pipe or disturbances to a vacuum state, preventing, in advance, the degradation of insulation performance, facilitating maintenance and repair work, and lowering costs. In the vacuum insulating pipe of the present invention comprising the inner pipe in which the cryogenic liquefied gas flows and the outer pipe provided by a predetermined interval on the outer side of the inner pipe so to encompass the inner pipe, and thus protect the inner pipe, a plurality of bellows for absorbing thermal stress caused by a temperature difference between room temperature and an ultra-low temperature are provided at the predetermined intervals on the outer pipe, and guide pipes, which have outer diameters that are the same size as the outer diameter of the outer pipe in order to be weld-coupled to the outer pipe, or flange parts, which are to be flange-coupled to the outer pipe, are formed at both ends of the bellows.
