Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a method for manufacturing a vacuum insulated panel that enables a reduction in the probability that a welding defect in a metal outer covering material will occur. This method for manufacturing a vacuum insulated panel 100, 100A-D, 101, 101A is provided with a "covering step for covering a core material 110, 110B with a metal foil 130, 131" and a "welding step for welding a metal foil region on the outside of the core material," with at least a portion of the core material being covered with a covering body 120, 120A, 120D when the covering step begins. When the entire surface of the core material is covered by the covering body, preferably the pressure inside the covering body is reduced and the covering body is sealed prior to the covering step, and when a portion of the core material is covered by the covering body, preferably the pressure inside the metal foil and inside the covering body is reduced simultaneously and the metal foil is sealed after the welding step.
