Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a novel V-belt exhibiting excellent durability. Provided as a solution is a V-belt characterized by comprising an adhesive rubber layer in which is embedded a core that extends in the belt length direction and a compression rubber layer which is laminated to the belt inner circumference side of the adhesive rubber layer, wherein a rubber composition from which the compression rubber layer is formed satisfies (1) and (2), where X (MPa) is the value of storage modulus (E') at a dynamic strain of 0.1% as measured in a tensile method performed in accordance with JIS K6394 on a rubber composition test piece extracted in the belt width direction, at a frequency of 10 Hz and a test temperature of 25°C, and Y (%) is the value of the elongation rate of a rubber composition test piece extracted in the belt length direction.
