Abstract:

Provided is a urethane resin composition that when used as an elastic layer for a conductive roller can provide a conductive roller that is more elastic than in the past and has fine bubbles in the elastic layer, and a conductive roller that uses this composition. It contains a urethane resin having a carboxyl group on a side chain, a crosslinking agent having an epoxy group, and an ester made of a sugar and a saturated unbranched fatty acid having 16 to 24 carbon atoms as a foaming agent. The saturated fatty acid is preferably stearic acid, a foaming aid is preferably included, and the sugar is preferably sucrose.
