Abstract:
This underground cavity examination system (1) of one embodiment comprises: a detector (11) that can detect muons and that is installed in a conduit which is buried underground; a position adjusting unit (12) that can adjust the position of the detector in the direction in which the conduit extends; and an analysis unit (13) that analyses the flux information of the muons detected by the detector (11), and thereby identifies the position of an underground cavity. The present invention can provide an underground cavity examination system that can easily examine an underground cavity.
