Abstract:
Provided is a device for radiating ultraviolet light that can effectively inactivate pathogens while ensuring safety to human body. This ultraviolet light irradiation device comprises: at least one light source for emitting ultraviolet light that has a main emission wavelength within a wavelength band of 190 to 240 nm; a housing for accommodating the light source; an extraction part for extracting the ultraviolet light to the outside of the housing; and an illuminance limiting part for limiting the illuminance of some of the ultraviolet light from the entirety of the light emitted from the extraction part.
