Abstract:
The present invention provides an ultrathin composite diaphragm for alkaline water electrolysis, a preparation method therefor, and an alkaline water electrolysis apparatus. The composite diaphragm is composed of a porous supporting layer and a dense skin layer formed on the outer surface of the porous supporting layer; the porous supporting layer and the dense skin layer are prepared from slurries having identical compositions; the slurries comprise nanofibers, inorganic nanoparticles, an organic high-molecular polymer, and a binding agent; the mass percent content S% of the nanofibers in the slurry relative to the length L and diameter D of the nanofibers satisfy: S = K * √ L/D. In the present invention, uniformly dispersing a certain concentration of nanofibers in the slurry maintains the good mechanical strength of the diaphragm while greatly reducing the thickness of the composite diaphragm, thereby effectively reducing the surface resistance of the diaphragm, and improving the ion permeability of the diaphragm.
