Title:
ULTRA-WIDEBAND-BASED SENSING METHOD AND APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2024/066564
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present application can be applied to an ultra-wideband (UWB)-based wireless local area network system, e.g., a system supporting IEEE 802.15 series protocols, and can also be applied to a system supporting IEEE 802.11 series protocols. Provided in the present application are a UWB-based sensing method and apparatus. The method comprises: a sending end determining a transmitted waveform sequence set, wherein the transmitted waveform sequence set comprises N sequences, the transmitted waveform sequence set consists of sequences with aperiodic ZCZs, and the sequence length of the sequences is Q; and the sending end sending Q pulse bursts to a receiving end according to the N sequences, wherein each pulse burst comprises N pulses, a jth pulse in an ith pulse burst among the Q pulse bursts corresponds to an ith element in a jth sequence among the N sequences, 1 ≤ i ≤ Q, and 1 ≤ j ≤ N. By using the transmitted waveform sequence set, no cyclic prefixes and suffixes can be used, the sensing performance of transmitted waveform sequences can be ensured, and the air interface time can be shortened.
