Abstract:

Provided is a two-degree-of-freedom and three-degree-of-freedom convertible spherical joint structure, comprising: an outer shell (40) with a containing cavity; a hollow sphere (10) positioned in the containing cavity of the outer shell and capable of rotating in the containing cavity, a groove body (11) is provided on a lower semi-spherical surface of the sphere; a limiting pin column (20) vertically inserted the outer shell and positioned below the sphere, with an axis passing through the center of the sphere; a first worm and gear assembly (30) provided in the outer shell and used for driving the limiting pin column to do linear reciprocating motion in the vertical direction; wherein, the first worm and gear assembly drives the top of the limiting pin column to be inserted into or withdrawn from the groove body so as to adjust the rotational degree of the sphere. The two-degree-of-freedom and three-degree-of-freedom convertible spherical joint structure has the advantages of being simple in structure and convenient in adjustment.
