Abstract:
A twin clutch transmission, wherein a pair of first shift gears (26a, 26b) are installed between a first input shaft (14) and a first output shaft (20) and a pair of fourth shift gears (30a, 30b) are installed between a second input shaft (18) and the first output shaft, a pair of third shift gears (34a, 34b) and a pair of fifth shift gears (36a, 36b) are installed between the first input shaft and a second output shaft (22) and a pair of second shift gears (40a, 40b) and a pair of sixth shift gears (30a, 42b) are installed between the second input shaft and the second output shaft, and a reverse input gear (34a) formed integrally with the first input shaft and a reverse output gear (46b) installed on the first output shaft are connected to each other through idler gears (46a, 46b) disposed on a countershaft (24), whereby the axial length of the transmission can be reduced.
