Abstract:
A turbo charger bearing device is adapted such that on the inner circumference of a bearing case (10) into which a pair of roller bearings (30) are incorporated for rotatably supporting a turbine shaft (20), provided are a pair of annular projected portions (11) for axially positioning outer rings (31) of the roller bearings (30), and a circumferential groove (12) formed in a V-shaped cross section is provided on the inner circumference of the respective annular projected portions (11). The bearing case (10) is provided with a radial oil supply hole (14); the oil supplied through the oil supply hole (14) into the circumferential groove (12) is moved and turned along the inner circumference surface of the circumferential groove (12); and the turned oil is allowed to flow into the roller bearings (30) to lubricate and cool the roller bearings (30), thereby preventing the rotation thereof from being inhibited.
