A tungsten wire (1) according to the present invention has a specific resistance of 6.2 µΩ∙cm to 6.9 µΩ∙cm and a wire diameter of 50 µm or less, while comprising dislocations in crystal grains. For example, the tensile strength of the tungsten wire (1) is 2,200 MPa to 2,800 MPa.
