Abstract:
Provided is a water-repellant tube with excellent handling properties. This tube is able to expand and contract, and expands when tensile force is applied in the lengthwise direction. When the tensile force applied in the lengthwise direction is eliminated the tube returns to a short state. Multiple protrusions are formed on the inner surface of the tube, and each of the multiple protrusions extends in the circumferential direction. The multiple protrusions are arranged side by side in the lengthwise direction of the tube. The protrusions have a pitch of 1.5 μm or less.
