Abstract:
A tripod constant velocity joint includes: an outer joint member including a cavity extending in the longitudinal direction thereof and three roller tracks; an inner joint member including a central body and three journals protruding in the radial direction from the central body; and three roller assemblies fastened to the three journals, respectively, and disposed on the three roller tracks, respectively. Each of the roller assemblies includes: an inner ring fastened to the journal, an outer ring disposed to face the side surface of the roller track while surrounding the inner ring; and a bearing disposed between the inner ring and the outer ring. The side surface of the roller track is formed in a convex manner, and the outer surface of the outer ring is formed in a convex manner to correspond to the convex side surface of the roller track.
