Abstract:

Provided is a transmission enabling space saving. The transmission is provided with at least a first shaft, a second shaft, a third shaft, and a fourth shaft parallel to one another. The first shaft has a first gear that connects to the first shaft, and a second gear that connects to the first shaft or causes the first shaft to run idle through switching of a first clutch. The second shaft has a third gear that meshes with the first gear and connects to the second shaft, and a fourth gear that connects to the second shaft or causes the second shaft to run idle through switching of a second clutch. The third shaft has a sixth gear that meshes with the first gear and connects to the third shaft, and a seventh gear that connects to the third shaft or causes the third shaft to run idle through switching of a fourth clutch. The fourth shaft has a ninth gear that meshes with the second gear, the fourth gear and the seventh gear and connects to the fourth shaft.
