Abstract:
A clutch (1) has a clutch disc (1a) that rotates by receiving motive power from an engine (80a), and a clutch plate (1b) that is switched between an engaged state of being engaged with the clutch disc (1a) and a disengaged state of not being engaged. In a state in which the transmission of motive power from the engine (80) to the clutch disc (1a) is blocked, and also in which the clutch disc (1a) rotates and the above-described engaged state is in effect, a controller (70) calculates a friction coefficient μ between the clutch disc (1a) and the clutch plate (1b) on the basis of an elapsed time Δt, which is a time from a first time point (T0), at which the relative rotational speed between the clutch disc (1a) and the clutch plate (1b) reaches a first rotational speed, to a second time point (T1), at which the relative rotational speed reaches a second rotational speed lower than the first rotational speed.
