Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a transmission, a method for controlling a transmission, and a program that are capable of reducing excess line pressure. [Solution] A transmission includes: a primary pulley; a secondary pulley; a belt; a hydraulic-pressure control circuit that adjusts the pressure of oil supplied from an oil pump, to a line pressure; a line-pressure detection sensor that detects the line pressure; and a transmission controller that controls the hydraulic-pressure control circuit. In addition, the transmission controller selects, as a target pulley pressure, the higher one of a target value for a primary-pulley pressure and a target value for a secondary-pulley pressure, sets a target differential pressure to be variable according to an oil temperature, sets a target line pressure, which is a target value for the line pressure, to be the total pressure of the target pulley pressure and the target differential pressure, and controls the hydraulic-pressure control circuit such that the detected line pressure is adjusted to the target line pressure.
