Disclosed is a transmission mechanism applied in a cooking machine, comprising a drive motor, a vertical output shaft, a gear box fixed relative to a housing of the drive motor, and a main transmission shaft rotatingly disposed on the gear box. An output end of the drive motor is provided with a worm, a first turbine that matches with the worm being disposed on one side of the screw, and a second turbine that matches with the worm being disposed on the other side of the worm; the first turbine is connected to the main transmission shaft by means of a first transmission mechanism, and the second turbine is connected to the main transmission shaft by means of a second transmission mechanism, such that the first turbine and the second turbine together can drive the main transmission shaft to rotate; and the main transmission shaft and the vertical output shaft are connected to one another by means of a third transmission mechanism. The worm in the transmission mechanism as provided in the present invention is uniformly stressed and is not easily worn down, has relatively low heat generation, and has a long service life.
