The present invention is a transmission line. Hollow portions overlap a first ground conductor layer, as viewed in the vertical direction. The hollow portions each include a first part positioned in a second orthogonal direction of a signal conductor layer, as viewed in a first orthogonal direction. The width of the first parts in the second orthogonal direction have a first part width maximum value, a first part width minimum value, and a first part width intermediate value. Among each first part, the width of the first part in the second orthogonal direction defines a part that takes the first part width maximum value as a first part width maximum portion. Among each first part, the width of the first part in the second orthogonal direction defines a part that takes the first part width minimum value as a first part width minimum portion. Among each first part, the width of the first part in the second orthogonal direction defines a part that takes the first part width intermediate value as a first part width intermediate portion. The first part width intermediate portion is positioned between the first part width maximum portion and the first part width minimum portion in the longitudinal direction.
