Abstract:
A transmission device (40) comprises: a first transmission unit (41) that has a first port (41a) and a second port (41b), and controls whether a packet acquired from one port is to be output from the other port or to be output to a connected device; a second transmission unit (42) that has a third port (42a) and a fourth port (42b), and controls whether a packet acquired from one port is to be output from the other port or to be output to a connected device; a bypass control unit (43) that performs bypass control for bypassing between the ports of the first transmission unit (41) and the second transmission unit (42) when a power-off failure occurs in the first transmission unit (41) and the second transmission unit (42); and a packet control unit (44) that controls output of packets acquired by the first transmission unit (41) and the second transmission unit (42) when the bypass control is performed in an adjacent, connected transmission device (40).
