This transmission control device is provided with: an eccentric drive unit (14) that can adjust the amount of eccentricity of eccentric mechanisms (4-13) by rotating between zero and ±180°; an oscillation angle detection unit (52) that can detect the oscillation angle of an oscillating link that oscillates in accordance with the amount of eccentricity; an eccentricity amount map storage unit (51) that stores an eccentricity amount map having a positive region, at which the oscillation angle increases by means of the eccentric drive unit (14) rotating in a first direction, and a negative region, at which the oscillation angle increases by means of the eccentric drive unit (14) rotating in a second direction that is the reverse of the first direction, the oscillation angle and rotational angle of the eccentric drive unit (14) being associated at the positive region and negative region; and an eccentricity control unit (53) that applies the detected oscillation angle and rotational angle of the eccentric drive unit (14) to the eccentricity amount map, determines the rotational angle of the eccentric drive unit (14) at which the amount of eccentricity becomes zero, and controls the eccentricity drive unit (14) using the rotational angle.
