Abstract:
A tow prepreg in which a reinforcing fiber bundle is impregnated with a matrix resin that is the reaction product of a resin composition containing a bifunctional epoxy resin (A), a bifunctional compound (B) having reactivity with an epoxy group, and a curing catalyst (C) selected from the group consisting of amine curing catalysts, phosphorus curing catalysts, and imidazole curing catalysts, wherein: the matrix resin has a weight-average molecular weight of 300-2,000 and a glass transition point of 15-35°C; the tow prepreg has an unraveling tension of not more than 8.0 N at an atmospheric temperature of 20-50°C; and pulling shear separation load for two tow prepregs under prescribed conditions is 1.0-24.5 N/mm.
