Abstract:
The present invention is characterized to provide a torsional vibration damping device configured so that the torsional rigidity of an outer peripheral tube-like member and an inner peripheral tube-like member is increased by increasing the range of the torsional angle between the outer peripheral tube-like member and the inner peripheral tube-like member. A torsional vibration damping device (10) is configured in such a manner that an intermediate tube-like member (13) is disposed between an outer peripheral tube-like member (11) into which rotational torque is inputted and an inner peripheral tube-like member (12) from which rotational torque is outputted, the inner peripheral section of the outer peripheral tube-like member (11) and the outer peripheral section of the intermediate tube-like member (13) are connected by square threads (13b, 14b), the inner peripheral section of the intermediate tube-like member (13) and the outer peripheral section of the inner peripheral tube-like member (12) are engaged with each other by ball splines, a conical spring (23) is disposed between the inner peripheral section (14c) of a side wall (14B) of a cup member (14) and the outer peripheral section (13c) at one end of the intermediate tube-like member (13) in the direction of the rotation axis (L), and a conical spring (26) is disposed between the inner peripheral section (15b) of a rear plate (15) and the outer peripheral section (13d) at the other end of the intermediate tube-like member (13) in the direction of the rotation axis (L).
