Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a torsional damper that is not prone to belt squealing even when the belt slips. This problem is solved by means of a torsional damper that is used with a transmission belt wound thereupon, wherein the torsional damper has a coating film on the surface of a V-groove portion in contact with the transmission belt, the surface roughness Ra of the coating film is 3.0 or greater, and the surface roughness Rz of the coating film is 6.0 or greater.
