Abstract:
Provided is a torque transmission joint that makes it possible to continue transmitting torque between a pair of end transmission members even in the case of reduced torque transmission function due to an intermediate transmission member. The invention is provided with an intermediate transmission member (19), and with a first transmission member (17) and a second transmission member (18) that are respectively arranged at both axial direction ends of the intermediate transmission member (19), and that each have a radially outward section engaged with a radially inward section of the intermediate transmission member (19). The first transmission member (17) and the second transmission member (18) have a first preliminary engagement section (63) and a second preliminary engagement section (66), respectively, at axial direction ends on sides close to one another. The first preliminary engagement section (63) and the second preliminary engagement section (66) engage with one another in a state where there is an interposed circumferential direction gap that does not disappear even when torque transmission is performed between the first transmission member (17) and the second transmission member (18) via the intermediate transmission member (19).
