Abstract:
Disclosed is a torque converter for a vehicle, which comprises a torsional damper and which can improve a vibration-absorbing function and reduce the amplitude and strength of vibration in the entire torsional damper. The torque converter according to the present invention comprises the torsional damper, wherein the torsional damper comprises a retaining plate coupled to a piston, a plurality of springs which are arranged on the retaining plate and through which elastic force acts in the circumferential direction, a driven plate which operates with reaction force with respect to the springs and is coupled to a spline hub that delivers driving force to a transmission, a mass which is provided on the piston or the driven plate and shifts from the center of rotation toward an outer circumference, and a mass support member for elastically supporting the mass.
