Abstract:
A torque converter (100) is provided with a torque converter body (2), a dynamo-electric machine (3), and an elastic member (4). The torque converter body (2) has a front cover (21), an impeller (22), and a turbine (23). The dynamo-electric machine (3) has a stator (31) and a rotor (32). The axis of rotation of the rotor (32) is aligned with the center axis of the output shaft of an engine. The elastic member (4) elastically connects the torque converter body (2) and the rotor (32).
