Abstract:
Provided is a machine tool which reliably holds a tool holder and which enables the tool holder to be easily and quickly mounted and demounted. The machine tool comprises: at least two clamp holes (211) into which pins (203) passed through at least two through-holes (202) provided in the tool holder (134) are inserted; at least two cylindrical clamp sleeves (302) respectively fitted in said at least two clamp holes and having flexible body sections (321); a sealed fluid chamber (401) for enclosing fluid therein; flow passages (402) extended from the sealed fluid chamber up to the outer peripheral surfaces of the flexible body sections; and a pressure regulation section (403) for regulating the pressure of the fluid within the sealed fluid chamber. Clamp fastening force is applied to the pins (203) in coordination with an increase or decrease in the fluid pressure within the fluid sealing chamber.
