Abstract:
Provided is a tolerance ring enabling a peak load to be controlled when a pivot shaft is press-fitted into the tolerance ring, and a load applied onto the pivot shaft by the tolerance ring to be kept in a state in which the tolerance ring and the pivot shaft are fixed. A tolerance ring (8) provided with a plurality of convex parts (81a) radially projecting from the outer circumference surface of a base part formed by a belt-shaped member being substantially looped to form a ring shape, wherein at least one of the edge parts of the convex parts (81a) in a width direction orthogonal to the circumferential direction, among the edge parts forming a boundary with the base part, forms a shape that crosses the circumferential direction.
