Abstract:
A titanium alloy member according to one embodiment of the present invention has a hard part which has a chemical composition that contains, in mass%, from 4.0% to 9.0% of Al, from 0.5% to 2.5% in total of one or more elements that are selected from the group consisting of Fe, Cr and Ni, from 0% to 0.100% of C, from 0% to 0.100% of N, from 0% to 0.100% of H and from 0% to 0.500% of O, with the balance being made up of Ti and impurities, and which has a Vickers hardness of 350 HV or more.
