Abstract:
This tilting pad bearing comprises: a bearing housing having an inner ring and an outer ring that are cylindrical and concentrically positioned, a plurality of arc springs that are positioned between the inner ring and the outer ring and that are aligned in a circumferential direction, and a plurality of slits separating the inner and outer rings and the plurality of arc springs; a plurality of bearing pads that are aligned in the circumferential direction on the inner peripheral side of the bearing housing; and an oil supply device that supplies lubricating oil into the plurality of slits and into circumferential-direction gaps between the plurality of bearing pads. The bearing housing is made from the linking of a plurality of divided cylinders aligned in the circumferential direction, each of the plurality of divided cylinders has two dividing surfaces linked to other divided cylinders, and the two dividing surfaces are provided so as to avoid the plurality of arc springs.
