Title:
THRUST ROLLER BEARING
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/105662
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The objective is to implement a thrust roller bearing structure with which abrasion and breaking do not occur in a retainer element, and with which separation of the thrust race and the retainer can be prevented without buffering occurring therebetween, even for applications wherein the rotating portion rotates at high speed or applications wherein there is a large relative displacement between the members that form the rotating portion. The thickness of a metal plate that forms a first retainer element (35) is less than the thickness of a metal plate that forms a second retainer element (36), and preferably is not more than 5/6 of that thickness. Alternatively, the thickness of a metal plate that forms a second retainer element (56) is less than the thickness of a metal plate that forms a first retainer element (55), and preferably is not more than 5/6 of that thickness.
