Abstract:
This thrust roller bearing retainer: has a first surface and a second surface positioned in the thickness direction; is constituted by a pair of plate-shaped members; and holds a roller by accommodating the roller in a pocket. The thrust roller bearing retainer comprises: a pair of annular parts that are disposed spaced apart from each other in a radial direction; and a plurality of column parts that connect the pair of annular parts so as to form a plurality of pockets disposed spaced apart from each other in a circumferential direction. Each column part is provided with a recess that is recessed toward the first surface side in a center region in a rolling axis direction of the roller accommodated in the pocket. A first roller stopping part, which protrudes toward the pocket side and which prevents the roller from falling out from the first surface side, is provided to the first surface side of a first side wall surface of the column part to which the recess is provided. A second roller stopping part, which protrudes toward the pocket side and which prevents the roller from falling out from the second surface side, is provided to the second surface side of a second side wall surface of the column part at an end region in the rolling axis direction at a position which avoids the recess.
