Abstract:
Provided is a threaded joint having excellent tensile strength. A threaded joint 1 according to the present invention is formed through connection of a pin 2 having, on the outer circumference at the leading end side of a first steel pipe, a male thread part provided with a first male thread portion and a second male thread portion with steps C therebetween, and a box 3 having, on the inner circumference at the leading end side of a second steel pipe, a female thread part provided with a first female thread portion and a second female thread portion with the steps C therebetween, the connection being made through engagement between the male thread part and the female thread part. A length L1 of a first thread row A, a length L2 of a second thread row B, a cross-sectional area P1 at an end section position 4, a cross-sectional area P2 at an end section position 5, a cross-sectional area B1 at an end section position 6, and a cross-sectional area B2 at an end section position 7 satisfy formula (1): (P2,B2)min≤P1/{L1/(L1+L2)} and formula (2): (P2,B2)min≤B1/{L2/(L1+L2)}, where (P2,B2)min represents the smaller value between P2 and B2.
