Abstract:
A third harmonic reducer, which enables a relative displacement of three teeth of a flexible inner gear (21) when a wave generator (1) rotates by one complete turn, thereby the harmonic reducer having an increased position accuracy and rotation accuracy, smooth transmission, and stable operation. The third harmonic reducer comprises the wave generator (1), a flexible gear (2), and a rigid gear (3); the flexible gear (2) comprises a flexible inner gear (21) and an output portion (22), the wave generator (1) is provided in an inner mounting cavity of the flexible inner gear (21), the wave generator (1) comprises an input shaft end (11) and a cam (12), a flexible bearing (4) being annularly provided between the outer circumferential surface of the cam (12) and the inner circumferential surface of the flexible inner gear (21), the cam (12) of the wave generator (1) having a three-convex structure, three convex annular surfaces (121) being uniformly and surroundingly distributed on the outer circumferential surface of the cam (12), a progressive transition annular surface (122) being provided between adjacent convex annular surfaces (121), a tooth portion of the flexible inner gear (21) meshing with a corresponding outer gear of the rigid gear (3), and the rigid gear (3) being fixedly connected to an external housing by means of a peripheral connecting flange (32).
