Abstract:
This thermally operated switch (1) comprises: a first thermally sensitive part (10) and a second thermally sensitive part (20) respectively having contacts (12, 22) positioned on mutually facing surfaces at the free end sides thereof, and thermally deforming members (a first bimetal 11 and a second bimetal 21) that bend as the temperature rises from normal temperature in such a manner that the contacts(12, 22) transition from an open state to a connected state; a first terminal (31), a second terminal (32), and a third terminal (33) connected to an external circuit; and an insulation part (40) holding and insulating from one another the first terminal (31), the second terminal (32), and the third terminal (33). The first thermally sensitive part (10) has a first region (A1) and a second region (A2) positioned so as to be separated by a slit (13) that has been formed oriented from the fixed end side toward the free end. The first terminal (31) is connected to the first region (A1), the second terminal (32) is connected to the second region (A2), and the third terminal (33) is connected to the second thermally sensitive part (20).
