Abstract:
This thermal power plant comprises a boiler, a steam turbine driven by steam from the boiler, a turbine bypass line for sending steam that bypasses the steam turbine, a condenser that cools the exhaust of the steam turbine and produces condensed water, a low-pressure water supply heater that heats the condensed water via extracted steam from the steam turbine, and a degasser that degasses the condensed water via extracted steam, wherein the thermal power plant also comprises a hot water heater that uses main steam of the turbine bypass line as a heat source to produce high-temperature water from the condensed water supplied from the condenser, a high-temperature water tank that stores the high-temperature water, and a high-temperature water pump that feeds the high-temperature water stored in the high-temperature water tank to the wake of the low-pressure water supply heater or to the degasser.
