Abstract:
Provided is a thermal insulation member which is provided between adjacent cells in a battery module containing an arrangement of a plurality of cells, said thermal insulation member including an internal member which includes a thermal insulation layer, and an external member which covers the internal member. The external member includes: a bottom film which comprises a recess for accommodating the internal member; and a top film which is thermally fused to the bottom film on the outer periphery of the recess. The bottom film is composed of an unstretched PBT film. The top film includes a base film and a sealant layer which, at least in the thermally fused portion, is laminated to the inner surface of the base film, the base film being a stretched PET film, the sealant layer being an amorphous PET layer.
