Abstract:
Methods and apparatuses for terahertz beam deflector are disclosed. In one embodiment, a reconfigurable intelligent surface device includes a metasurface that reflects terahertz transmission with a reflection angle, wherein the reconfigurable intelligent surface device comprises a transceiver; and a processor coupled to the transceiver, wherein the processor is configured to transmit, via the transceiver, parameter for controlling the reflection angle of the metasurface; and receive, via the transceiver, an indication of a coding sequence to control the reflection angle.
