Abstract:
A tapered roller bearing assembling device comprises: an inner jig (58) for guiding the large-diameter section of a tapered roller (1), which has been supplied to the inside radially of a pocket section (6), from the inside radially toward the outside radially; and an outer jig (60) for pressing the small-diameter section of the tapered roller (1), which has been supplied to the inside radially of the pocket section (6), from the outside radially toward the inside radially. With a retainer (2) and the tapered roller (1) rotated about the center axis (C) by a retainer placement section (50), the inner jig (58) and the outer jig (60) rotate the large-diameter section of the tapered roller (1) toward the pocket section (6) about the point of contact between the small-diameter section of the tapered roller (1) and the pocket section (6) of the retainer (2), thereby mounting the tapered roller (1) into the pocket section (6).
