Abstract:
A method for reducing coupling of an electric field used to remove dust from an intake airflow of an engine. In the method, anode and cathode parameters of an electric field for removing dust from an intake air of an engine can be selected so as to reduce instances of electric field coupling, and thus significantly reduce the dimensions of a dust-removing electric field apparatus and maintain a high particulate removal rate.
