Abstract:
A system and method for preventing a converter from dry burning during evaporative cooling and blowdown. The system comprises a header (1), a conventional circulating system, an enhanced heat exchange circulating system and a drainage system. The conventional circulating system and the enhanced heat exchange circulating system comprise a circulating pump (3). A water outlet end of the circulating pump (3) is connected to the header (1) to form the conventional circulating system. The enhanced heat exchange circulating system comprises a circulating valve (4) and a first drainage pipe (5). The drainage system comprises a second drainage pipe (7). The second drainage pipe (7) is communicated with the first drainage pipe (5), a drainage valve (8) is arranged on the second drainage pipe (7), and a drainage hose (10) is arranged between the first drainage pipe (5) and the second drainage pipe (7). According to the system, enhanced heat exchange circulation is achieved by means of the connection of the circulating pump (3), the first drainage pipe (5), and the drainage hose (10), the internal heat exchange condition of the drainage pipelines is enhanced, the stable state of the drainage pipelines under the high-temperature condition is guaranteed, the overheating condition caused due to the fact that water in the pipelines does not flow is avoided, the safety of the pipelines is improved, and the working performance of the whole system is guaranteed.
