Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a surface treatment agent for use on enamel steel or a part, an aqueous solution thereof comprising the following solid components in parts by mass: 15 to 55 parts of an aqueous polymer resin A; 32 to 58 parts of an organosilane coupling agent B having at least one epoxy functional group, wherein the mass ratio of the organosilane coupling agent B to the aqueous polymer resin A is 0.6 to 2.2; 0.2 to 3 parts of a polyol C containing at least three hydroxyl groups; 0.05 to 2 parts of a molybdenum compound D, in terms of elemental molybdenum; 0.1 to 1 part of a phosphorus compound E, in terms of elemental phosphorus; 0.1 to 1 part of a zirconium compound F, in terms of elemental zirconium; and 0.5 to 8 parts of a metal salt or a metal organic compound G which promotes adhesion. The enamel steel coated with the surface treatment agent has excellent processability, and good resistance to various chemical media; the present invention effectively improves the surface adhesion between a glaze layer and a steel substrate, as well as the surface quality of a final enamel product.
