Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a surface tension-driven flexible electronic transfer printing method. A surface active liquid film or a surface active liquid bubble is used as a transfer printing seal, so that electronic device transfer printing of a nano/micrometer/sub-millimeter thickness can be realized. The transfer printing process is transparent and visible, what you see is what you get, and accurate positioning of an electronic device can be achieved. A local load technology is introduced, so that the present invention is applicable to any complex curved surface substrate, implementing diversified transfer printing. The transfer printing process does not need a strong-weak adhesion switching policy as conventional transfer printing, and the electronic device can be transferred to an application substrate having ultra-low interfacial viscosity. No pre-pressure is required to be introduced, and a non-compressible electronic device film can be transferred, in a lossless or low-loss mode, to an application substrate which cannot bear. Few residues are left after transfer printing, evaporation and other processing are not needed, and multiple times of transfer printing are facilitated. The surface active liquid film and the surface active liquid bubble are high in deformation capacity and wide in transfer printing range. The whole process is simple, the process universality is good, and the present invention is suitable for many transfer printing materials and substrate materials. The present method can be smoothly expanded to macroscopic large-format flexible electronic transfer printing.
