Abstract:
The present invention relates to a surface-reconstructed copper catalyst, a preparation method therefor and a use thereof in CO2 electroreduction. According to the copper catalyst, surface reconstruction is performed on copper foil by means of an acidic high-valence metal ion solution, and obtained active sites are regularly arranged gully-like structures and nanoclusters having crystal faces Cu(100), Cu(110), and Cu(111). The preparation method for the copper catalyst comprises: placing cleaned copper foil into a high-valence metal ion solution to which an acid is added and undergoing an oxidation-reduction reaction for surface reconstruction; and cleaning the surface-reconstructed copper foil and drying same to obtain the copper catalyst. The use of the copper catalyst comprises: putting the copper catalyst into a CO2-saturated cathode electrolyte, performing constant-potential electrolysis, and continuously introducing CO2 for electroreduction to obtain hydrocarbon products CH4 and C2H4. The hydrocarbon products of the catalyst of the present invention has good selectivity and a high value, raw materials for preparation are easily obtained, the preparation method is simple, the process has strong controllability, and the cost is low.
