Abstract:
The present invention relates to a surface mounted super capacitor which can be surface mounted on the substrate of an electronic device, for providing improved sealing reliability for a region on which a cell is mounted. The super capacitor according to the present invention includes a wiring substrate, a cell, a lead, and a side sealing portion. The wiring substrate includes an upper surface and a lower surface. The cell includes a first electrode, a separation layer, a second electrode, and electrolyte; and the first electrode is bonded and electrically connected to the upper surface of the wiring substrate. The lead is bonded and sealed on the upper surface of the wiring substrate so as to cover the cell, and electrically connects the second electrode of the cell and the wiring substrate. Also, the side sealing portion forms the portion bonded between the wiring substrate and the lead by sealing same using a liquid sealing agent.
