Abstract:
Provided is a supported metal catalyst in which electrical conductivity is enhanced. The present invention provides a supported metal catalyst comprising a carrier powder and metal fine particles supported by the carrier powder. The carrier powder is an aggregate of carrier fine particles. The carrier fine particles are provided with a chain part configured by fusion bonding of a plurality of crystallites in the form of a chain. The carrier fine particles are configured from a metal oxide. The amount of metal fine particles carried per unit area of the surface area of the carrier powder calculated on the basis of sphere approximation is 3.4-13.7 (mg/m2).
