Abstract:

The present invention has a vertical mandrel (17) that is vertically inserted into an object to be rotated (1), which has an end surface (23a) in a direction intersecting a center of rotation and a support hole (29) at the rotation center portion of the end surface, by being fitted into the support hole; a radial fluid bearing (37) that is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the mandrel and rotatably receives the inner surface of the support hole of the object to be rotated via a fluid ejected from the outer peripheral surface of the mandrel; and a fluid thrust bearing (47) that is disposed around the mandrel, discharges fluid to the end surface of the object to be rotated, and causes the object to rotated to float.
