Abstract:
A supercharger TC includes: a shaft 7; a rolling bearing 60 including an inner ring 61 attached to the shaft 7 and an outer ring 62 disposed around the inner ring 61; a housing 2 including a bearing hole 22 that contains the rolling bearing 60; a compressor impeller provided on the shaft 7 outside the bearing hole 22; and an annular bearing holding plate 40 that is disposed between the bearing hole 22 and the compressor impeller in the central axis direction of the shaft 7 and includes an end face 41 opposed to a side face 62a of the outer ring 62, the end face 41 including an annular circumferential oil groove 46 that extends circumferentially and continuously all around the shaft, and a protrusion 48 that is located inside the circumferential oil groove 46 in the radial direction of the shaft 7 and protrudes in the central axis direction of the shaft 7.
