Disclosed is a sub-pilot piston-type valve (1) in which opening and closing speeds can be consistent, the structure is simple and the assembly is easy; when a sub-pilot piston (14) provided with sealing rings (15, 15A) on a sub-pilot valve (12) moves up and down in a piston cavity (13) in which limit platforms (20, 20A) are provided on an inner wall, part of a fluid medium in a water inlet pipe (6) on a main valve (2) enters a B chamber (4) through a sub-pilot port (24), a filter screen (25), an opening gasket (26), a branch pipe (17), a water inlet (18), a communication cavity (16), a water outlet (23) and a B channel (9), or the fluid medium in the B chamber (4) is discharged from a drain port (19) of the piston cavity (13) through the B channel (9) and the water outlet (23), so as to change the pressure in the B chamber (4), the B chamber (4) and an A chamber (3) being divided by a spacer (5) in the main valve (2), and to change the position of the spacer (5); the spacer (5) puts pipe ports of the water inlet pipe (6) and a water outlet pipe (7) on the main valve (2) into a closed or an opened state, a reverse pulse channel (10) provided on the B chamber (4) is able to output a pulse signal to a pressure detector or an automatic control device etc., and fast-inserting joints (21, 21A) provided can facilitate connection with other devices.
